	The Winery The Di Virgilio Winery established in 1980, is well-known today for its production of fine vintage wines obtained by researching and cultivating selected grapes on their estate in the Sangro Valley. The Di Virgilio family, expert wine makers, have turned wine making into a way of life and develop with wise experience all aspects, from the cultivation to the bottling. Thanks to their experience and to the vineyards well positioned in direct sun and open air, the Winery guarantees fine wines of controlled origin.
	The Territory The Di Virgilio Winery situated a few kilometres from the golden beaches of Torino di Sangro (le morge) offers an ideal climatic exposure of the vineyards for both proximity to the sea and for conformation of the territory towards the Adriatic sea. The variety of grapes cultivated range from the most traditional, Montepulciano d’Abruzzo and Trebbiano d’Abruzzo to the most recent Pinot Chardonnay. The vineyards, immersed in the favourable climate of the Sangro hillsides, fully express all of the characteristics of their fine quality.
